Responsibilities
- Provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area in Crystal Growth.
- Maintain records of calibration and verification of measurement devices used in manufacturing documents.
- Own standard operating procedures and associated trainings for manufacturing processes.
- Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products.
- Develop and conduct statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical causes of failure for yield loss and improving quality.
- Interact with product design and development personnel to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
- Participate in internal and external IATF audits and ensure all control documentations (PFD, PFMEA, and PCP) are up to date.
- Collaborate with downstream departments, facilities, logistics, and software teams to resolve interruptions to production.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and quality management systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with JMP or similar statistical analysis software.
- Experience with SQL preferred.
