Process Reliability Engineer EHC
About the role
You will ensure operating conditions support efficient, cost-effective, and reliable operation.
- Evaluate how process conditions impact equipment performance and identify when systems operate outside preferred ranges
- Assess risk to equipment and support decisions that balance production demands with equipment protection
- Use process and condition monitoring data to detect early signs of equipment stress or degradation
- Analyze trends and recurring issues that impact reliability, performance, and cost of ownership
- Communicate risks clearly when equipment operates outside preferred conditions
- Provide actionable recommendations to operations and maintenance teams
- Prioritize issues based on risk, cost, and impact to reliability and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, or related field preferred)
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience; extensive experience (more than 10+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience in plant operations, process engineering, or reliability engineering
- Background in Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, or Carbon Dioxide manufacturing (preferred)
- Process simulation modeling experience with UniSim, Aspen, or HYSYS
- Strong understanding of how process conditions impact equipment performance
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into practical actions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (operations, maintenance, engineering)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to balance production demands with equipment reliability priorities
