Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Process Preparation Operator I to join our team. This role is based in Oregon, Ohio.

Job Description

As a Process Preparation Operator I, you will prepare and test equipment, review treatment sheets, and open the clinic at 4am for first shift. You will support and collaborate with RNs to provide dialysis treatment to several patients at a time. This role requires strong management skills and prior direct patient care experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Regularly required to stand for 10 hour shifts
• Use hands and fingers, handle or feel
• Reach with hands and arms
• Talk or hear
• Wear personal protective equipment that may include hearing protection, hair net, and smock
• Occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Regularly lift and/or move 10 to 25 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 1 - 2 years related experience
• Familiar with operations within the production rooms
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Basic Windows, Excel (spreadsheets) and Word processing knowledge
