About the role
Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, located along Historic Route 66 near the borders of Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas, has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since 1997. As a Process Operator you will work hands‑on with a collaborative team to support production, keep equipment in top‑notch condition, and apply quick problem‑solving skills to address equipment needs throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and batch commodities and/or meat slurry into accurate batches of mixed meal delivered through hammer‑mill mixing and screening systems.
- Operate a forklift to efficiently transport materials.
- Safely operate production and processing equipment.
- Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
- Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
- Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on equipment, using lock‑out procedures as prescribed.
- Utilize computer technology and basic math skills to perform job duties.
- Occasionally work at high heights within the plant to fulfill job duties.
- Support production activities and maintain equipment condition with a focus on safety.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment.
- Basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures.
Schedule
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday‑Friday.
Pay
$21.58 per hour. Bonus eligibility: Yes.
