Process Manager - Module Process Technology

Responsibilities

• Cook up new products for manufacturability and assign tasks to engineers in the department
• Keep the workplace safe and in line with environmental regulations
• Start off each day with morning meetings, reviewing production goals, quality data, inventory, and company news
• Work closely with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes
• Oversee equipment quality to ensure it's functioning correctly, safely, and according to safety codes
• Create training programs and organize activities to enhance engineering proficiency
• Handle the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process to keep the company competitive in the market
• Manage budgets, prepare and monitor reports, and develop action plans
• Approve overtime, if necessary, and record all non-conformances to ensure corrective actions and preventative measures are taken
• Handle incident reports, safety alerts, and safety training for new employees and visitors
• Schedule and lead monthly department meetings
• Ensure the documentation with the state is updated through the internal document control system
• Address quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Keep KPIs up-to-date and communicate them effectively
• Submit electronic approvals (EAs) for invoices, parts orders, and organizational changes
• Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
• Maintain a clean work site in accordance with 5S3R Standards

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent, relevant experience
• Seven to ten years of experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing in a highly automated setting
• Three to six years of experience leading and managing multiple processes
• Experience implementing 5S principles
• Supervisor experience in LGESMI preferred
