Process Lead, Inbound Assets

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in the plant’s safety process.
• Satisfactory delivery of control systems to integration.
• Coordinate the daily schedules for team members.
• Help develop and implement standard operating procedures regarding:
  • Software updates and deployments.
  • Standardization of control racks builds.
  • Cable manufacturing and QC.
  • Cross functional employee training.
  • Daily task prioritization for the Inbound Process.
• Check in and verify return of rental items using RentalWorks database.
• Distribute returned items to proper departments/locations.
• Perform basic quality control and maintenance of some items.
• Load and unload company and external providers trucks and vehicles.
• Disassemble and distribute custom items to recycling/reuse/consignment.
• Follow through with missing items to verify accuracy in missing items reports.
• Communicate with management on missing and damaged items upon return.
• Maintain tools, work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.
• Identify and propose ideas and solutions to improve build quality or efficiency.
• Use RentalWorks or other asset management systems to keep current and accurate records.
• Responsible for all direct employees’ time management, reviews, training, and corrective actions.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required.
• Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company.

Requirements

• Prior experience leading a diverse team of individuals.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Experience in a warehouse or rentals environment.
• Knowledge of equipment used in entertainment staging.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions. Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, safety toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
