Process Lead

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to provide advanced support for enterprise applications, data workflows, and compliance-related systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL Server, C-Link, IBM DataStage, Managed File Transfer (MFT), and SQL scripting, along with a foundational understanding of DBA tasks. Experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Sanctions systems is essential, as this role supports critical compliance applications and processes. Should have experience in Compliance IT applications, including FIS ECM (Employee Compliance), LRN (Learning Compliance App), Red Oak, and Proofpoint. Candidate should have prior experience to lead AMS team, self motivated and focused on continuous service improvement and add value to customer ecosystem.

Technical Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical applications, including those related to AML and Sanctions monitoring, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Take ownership of supported applications, acting as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, enhancements, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead the team with development and support work (along with ownership).
• Work with offshore team to keep things on track.
• Support and maintain SQL Server environments, including query optimization and basic DBA tasks such as backups and user access.
• Monitor and troubleshoot C-Link integrations and data flows.
• Develop, maintain, and support ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Manage and support Managed File Transfer (MFT) systems to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure AML and Sanctions systems meet regulatory requirements.
• Document support procedures, known issues, and configuration details for knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
• Additional experience with merger-related situations would be preferable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in application support or related technical roles.
• Strong experience with Patriot Manager AML tool along with C-Link.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and SQL scripting.
• Strong experience with C-Link (data integration and connectivity).
• Strong experience with IBM DataStage (ETL development and support).
• Strong experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools and protocols.
• Strong experience with AML and Sanctions systems and workflows.
• Basic understanding of DBA tasks such as database backups, user management, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of ITIL practices and change management.
• Certification in SQL Server, DataStage, or AML compliance tools is a plus.
• Compliance IT applications, including FIS ECM (Employee Compliance), LRN (Learning Compliance App), Red Oak, and Proofpoint.

Pay

Salary range $80500 to $157500
