Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe work across the site.
- Perform duties assigned by and under the supervision of a project manager or engineer.
- Act as the technical consultant for capital projects within the process engineering team.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all manufacturing systems including automated material handling equipment, conveyance, packaging machines, labeling machines, and other production equipment.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot controls components including sensors, scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, and encoders.
- Develop and deliver Preventive Maintenance programs.
- Works from schematics and engineering drawings to aid in the creation of process documents and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Journey level mechanical skills with a minimum 2 years of experience mechanical electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing, RD and facility equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize many different projects and workload.
- Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems Allen Bradley Rockwell preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in Electrical and Mechanical and Pneumatic diagnosis and troubleshooting of robotic and other machines and equipment.
- Capable to analyze equipment installation practices and offer solutions to improve the efficacy of installation schedules.
- Effective interpersonal, team, prioritization, and written verbal communication skills including honesty, integrity, and respect for fellow associates.
- Strong oral and written communications skills with a keen eye for details in documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency, such as data entry and Microsoft Office programs.
- Physical dexterity to climb ladders and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe working practices around moving and electrical equipment.
- Perform basic to intermediate level fabrications and machine modifications using standard machine shop equipment drill press, saw, mill, lathe, hand tools, etc.
- Preferably have formal trade qualification or current electrical contractor license.
- Fabrication machining experience in a development environment.
- Identify potential or existing flaws and perform troubleshooting based on computer aided design CAD files.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and modify PLCPC controllers such as motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, etc.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and its tools including 5S, Kaizen.
- Experience using systems for data collection and Quality Control.

Pay
- Pay Rate Range: $35 to $45/hr W2, depending on experience.
Schedule
