Thanks for your interest in working on our team! Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Process Engineering Technician to support our electronic manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing detailed, accurate, and user-friendly process documentation for mechanical build operations, while also serving as a key support resource to Manufacturing Engineers and production teams. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in electronic manufacturing environments, understands production workflows, and is highly skilled in translating engineering intent into clear work instructions using an MES system—specifically Aegis Factory Logix Duties and Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed process instructions for mechanical assembly and build processes.Develop structured work instructions within the Factory Logix MES system, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability for operators.Implement and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring all updates are accurately reflected in process documentation and production systems.Maintain process revision control, including document versioning, change tracking, and ensure production is always using the latest released instructions.Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineers to interpret design intent and translate it into actionable production processes.Support new product introductions (NPIs), line startups, and continuous production builds.Work directly with production operators on the floor to ensure instructions are understood and followed correctly.Assist in troubleshooting build issues and refining documentation based on real-time feedback.Develop and maintain process flows, ensuring logical and efficient manufacturing sequences.Interpret and work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.Ensure process documentation aligns with quality standards and manufacturing best practices.Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or a related industry.Proven experience creating process documentation, work instructions, or manufacturing methods.Experience supporting ECO implementation and document revision control processes.Strong understanding of:Mechanical assembly/build processesManufacturing process flowBills of Materials (BOMs)Experience working in or supporting production environments, including operator interaction.Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably Aegis Factory Logix.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering and production teams.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PDF software.High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) builds.Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to production processes. Physical Work Environment Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbsWork in a manufacturing environment with mechanical assembly equipmentUse of appropriate ESD and safety PPE required
