Process Engineering Supervisor

About the role

The Forming Process Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production processes within the forming department at Corning. This individual will ensure that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the forming department to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize production workflows.
• Train and mentor team members on new equipment and processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
