Process Engineer Measurements
for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must not repeat job title. We must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Visa sponsorship not available", "Applicants must be legally authorized..." maybe considered legal? It's about work authorization; might be considered boilerplate? The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The visa sponsorship line is legal; likely remove. Also "Only those candidates selected for the interview process will be contacted." is application instruction; remove. Also "Note: Only those candidates selected..." remove. Also "About Lightera" maybe part of company description; could be considered part of About the role? Might be considered company overview; but we can include under About the role? The instruction: Use headings for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, etc. The "About Lightera" is company description; could be placed under About the role? Might be considered "About the role" content. However we have a separate "Job Purpose" paragraph earlier. We need to preserve all substantive information. Let's extract substantive content:
Job Purpose: "Support accurate, reliable, and sustainable measurement operations through stewardship of measurement software, test methods, data analysis tools, and system documentation. Drive modernization of legacy measurement systems, improve technical transparency of measurement calculations and business rules, and support internal and external stakeholders through technical investigation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. Inspired by the existing focus on testing accuracy and process improvement but targeted specifically at measurement systems and technical infrastructure."
Minimum Education Required: BS in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field
Minimum Experience Required: Experience supporting manufacturing systems, engineering software, measurement systems, or technical process improvement.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law (no specifics) - maybe skip as no detail.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications) 3+ years supporting manufacturing or laboratory measurement systems. Experience with C#, VB.NET, SQL, Python, or similar technical tools. Experience with automated test systems. Experience working with measurement equipment suppliers and external technical resources. Understanding software validation and configuration management. Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Key Responsibilities: list many bullet points.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: list.
Working at LIGHTERA means having the opportunity to realize ideas, experience innovation, and discover new solutions for the future. In addition to our dynamic work environment, we offer competitive salaries and generous benefits programs, including medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, and a matching 401(k) plan. Employees are expected to serve as role models for safe work practices and behaviors. This includes following established health and safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean, organized work area, wearing, and properly storing all personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively engaging as a safety conscious worker with personal safety and wellness as a priority.
We might keep the benefits part: "competitive salaries and generous benefits programs, including medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, and a matching 401(k) plan." That's benefits and pay (competitive salaries). So we can create Benefits section with that list. Pay: we have "competitive salaries" but not specific numbers; we should not create Pay section if only vague "competitive salaries" (that's like "commensurate with experience"?). The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state benefits (medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, matching 401(k)). So we can include Benefits. Pay: "competitive salaries" is vague but still states salaries; but it's not a specific number; still it's stating that they offer competitive salaries. Might be considered pay info. However instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state competitive salaries, which is a statement about pay. So we could include Pay section with that statement. But we might prefer to combine pay into Benefits? The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could combine Pay and Benefits into one Benefits section? But headings are predefined; we could still include Pay with short statement. However "competitive salaries" is somewhat generic but still substantive. I'd include Pay section with that sentence.
Schedule: not mentioned, so omit.
Now we need to remove boilerplate: "Visa sponsorship not available. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. The company does not provide visa sponsorship or any immigration support (including STEM OPT training plan) for this position" - remove.
Also "Only those candidates selected for the interview process will be contacted." remove.
Also "Note: Only those candidates selected for the interview process will be contacted." duplicate; remove.
Also "About Lightera" paragraph: we could treat as company description; maybe include under About the role? But we already have Job Purpose. Could add a short paragraph about company under About the role heading. The instruction: Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have About the role section containing job purpose and maybe company overview. Let's include both.
Now Requirements: Minimum Education Required, Minimum Experience Required, Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law (but no specifics). Since no detail, we might omit Licensure line. We'll include Education and Experience.
Qualifications: Additional qualifications (Preferred qualifications). We'll put under Qualifications.
Skills: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities section.
Benefits: medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, matching 401(k) plan.
Pay: competitive salaries.
Now ensure we don't repeat job title. No headings for Job ID.

maybe combine. But we should not repeat "Job Purpose" as heading; just include in paragraph. Let's craft paragraphs. About the role paragraph: combine job purpose and company description. Job Purpose: "Support accurate, reliable, and sustainable measurement operations through stewardship of measurement software, test methods, data analysis tools, and system documentation. Drive modernization of legacy measurement systems, improve technical transparency of measurement calculations and business rules, and support internal and external stakeholders through technical investigation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. Inspired by the existing focus on testing accuracy and process improvement but targeted specifically at measurement systems and technical infrastructure." Company description: "LIGHTERA has one of the longest and most respectable corporate lineages in American business, which goes back to Alexander Graham Bell and the invention of the telephone more than a century ago. We have a proven track record of being first in the industry with application specific fibers, optical connectors, ribbon cables, erbium doped fibers, Raman fiber lasers, fiber gratings and more. Our mission is to provide leading optical innovations and solutions by designing, manufacturing and supplying the best optical fibers, fiber cable and components and devices for our customers, with exceptional service that creates value for our shareholders, customers and employees. To do so, we must continue shaping the future of communications by applying the best minds to the challenges our customers will continually face. Our mission is simple and bold: to build brighter, more connected communities through cutting‑edge optical technologies." We can combine. Now Responsibilities: list each responsibility as- for lists.
We'll have:
