About the role
The Process Engineering Manager at TTM Technologies, Inc. is responsible for providing technical leadership, guiding the engineering team, and ensuring that key projects and engineering duties are completed on time and within budget. This role also involves working closely with product line management teams to support the development of new products and technology roadmaps, and interfacing with customers and key suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and training to the engineering team
- Serve as a resource on projects requiring advanced/specialized design/manufacturing knowledge
- Manage department budgets, headcount, capital equipment, outsourcing expenses, and assist with financial planning and tracking
- Work with product line management teams in support of the development of new product and technology roadmaps
- Provide input into defining capabilities required to meet the current and future needs and develop and execute plans to achieve
- Lead engineering and quality activities to ensure design robustness and manufacturability
- Perform Design of Experiments (DOE's) as necessary to ensure processes are centered
- Ensure critical process parameters are properly identified, effectively measured, monitored, and have prescribed corrections if required
- Ensure conformance to Product Development Process; monitor, track and report status of all projects
- Define and implement best practices to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all environmental regulations and standards with regard to material handling and proper chemical waste disposal
- Interface with customers and key suppliers (occasional travel may be necessary)

Education and Experience
- 5+ years of process engineering experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred
- Previous experience in an engineering supervisory role is preferred
- PCB experience is preferred

- Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
- As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado.
- For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to:
- Being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents;
- Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation;
- Understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL);
- Understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US;
- Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
