Process Engineer - Injection Mold Grain Lamination

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

  • Lead and support injection molding process development, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Support and improve grain lamination processes (including surface finish quality, appearance, and adhesion performance)
  • Own the interface between product development and manufacturing for molded and laminated components
  • Participate in and drive engineering change management activities
  • Support continuous improvement and production stability initiatives
  • Design, implement, and monitor robust, repeatable manufacturing processes
  • Ensure feasibility, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Drive problem-solving activities related to defects, scrap, and process variation (surface defects, adhesion issues, dimensional variation, etc.)
  • Collaborate across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and program teams

Your profile and competencies to succeed

  • Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with injection molding processes
  • Direct experience with grain lamination / surface lamination processes (interior trim, soft-touch surfaces, or equivalent)
  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
