About the role
The Process Engineer II supports manufacturing operations by improving process performance, product flow, and overall plant efficiency. This role works with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, solve technical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations through process analysis, troubleshooting, and improvement activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, improve flow, increase capacity, and lower cost
- Apply Lean tools such as 5S, kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, and standard work
- Aid in process documentation, operating procedures, and standard work updates
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support line balancing, workflow, layout, staffing, and work cell improvements
- Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and other teams to resolve technical issues
- Participate in projects that improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and productivity
- Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations clearly
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering Disciplines: Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial or Ceramic Engineering or other related engineering discipline
- 2+ years' experience in Manufacturing Environment or related technical experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems, production processes, and standard engineering principles
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
- Experience with 5S, kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work, flow improvement, line balancing, or work cell design
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
Preferred
- Data Analytics
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting
- Project management experience

Pay
$84,932.00 - $116,782.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
