Process Engineer - Food Manufacturing

Job Description Our client is a Food Manufacturer and this is a brand new site for them, they are looking for a proven Process Engineer who has worked on a their site The role: The Process Engineer is a technical leader capable of developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality food products. This role partners closely with Operations, internal and external teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, reduce waste, increase productivity, and ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory requirements. Essential Responsibilities:All plant personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to your immediate supervisor.Ensure plant industrial systems are maintained at optimum efficiency.Program systems to interact with the industrial network such as corporate ERP or factory efficiency systems.Be a resource for data mining for plant and coordinate operations.Assist in implementation of programming for plant capital projects.Make necessary changes to current systems to meet operational needs.Participate in the selection process for new equipment.Assist with implementation of projects as chosen by the plant teams.Support the Maintenance Manager during project implementation. Knowledge & Experience:Degree or Certification in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.Food Manufacturing a must3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial programming.3-5 years' experience in management and employee development.Experience working with cross functional teams, in a dynamic environment.Thorough understanding of plant operations.
