About the role

The Mosaic Company is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op/Intern to work at the Four Corners site in Bradley, FL during the summer of 2027. This position will provide hands-on experience in process engineering, assisting with facility efficiency improvements and product quality enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting to identify root cause of problems
  • Tracing of pipes and equipment in the field to correlate with existing drawings
  • Absisting with equipment efficiency tests and developing process flow diagrams
  • Computer modeling
  • Assist turnaround and repair day equipment inspections as required
  • Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization
  • Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment
  • Adhere to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles, and priorities

Requirements

  • Junior level or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Mining Engineer
  • 2.75 GPA or higher
  • Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment
  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Experience working in a team environment is a must
  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable
  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus

Skills

  • Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others
  • Able to lift approximately 0-25 lbs. occasionally
  • Able to climb stairs and work at various heights
  • Able to distinguish varying or specific colors, patterns or materials
  • Able to hear, with or without correction
  • Able to read, write and understand basic English
  • Able to use fine hand motor skills
  • Able to wear a respirator
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay

Competitive pay for the full-time Co-Op/Internship term from May 10 to August 20, 2027.

Schedule

Term is typically 36-40 hours per week, with a 9/80 schedule if applicable.
