About the role

At Statco-DSI, a subsidiary of ProMach’s Process business, our Process Engineer assists the sales team and engineering team with technical tasks, working collaboratively to craft and implement solutions. This role focuses on exposure across the business to build a strong technical foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate safely in all worksite situations, ensuring others adhere to applicable safety protocols
  • Function as a collaborative part of both internal and external teams to ensure excellence in customer solutions
  • Develop full scope for small projects, through budget and customer proposals
  • Support the project planning and development phases, through the execution
  • Collaborate with sales team members to provide technical support
  • Provide support to senior engineering team members as requested in areas such as, but not limited to, project design, budgeting, research, documentation, and light project execution
  • Partner with project execution teams, including but not limited to, site managers, project managers, installation crews, and customer representatives, to ensure the smoothest and most successful solution for the customer
  • Travel as needed for meetings and to support projects, particularly in start-up and commissioning phases
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk AutoCAD
  • Proven knowledge of sanitary and mechanical process design
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of sanitary piping practices
