Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize wire harness manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure that processes meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and defects.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flow charts.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
- Participate in product development and design reviews to provide input on manufacturability and process capabilities.
- Train and support production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in wire harness or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in using CAD software and process simulation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities.
