About the role
The Process Engineer drives operational improvements across warehouse, production, and packaging functions at the site. This role applies process engineering and continuous improvement methods to enhance safety, quality, productivity, capacity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, capacity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement methods.
- Support process design, facility layout, process flow development, and equipment-needs assessments.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop business cases, including ROI, labor, and payback analyses.
- Support equipment selection, specifications, vendor coordination, testing, startup, implementation, and training.
- Participate in automation, facility expansion, and process redesign projects.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visual management tools to track operational performance.
- Ensure improvements meet safety, quality, environmental, regulatory, and operational requirements.
- Support risk assessments, Management of Change, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and EHS initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Quality, EHS, Maintenance, and Leadership to execute improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams, deliver change-related training, and promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, warehousing, logistics, production, packaging, manufacturing, chemical operations, automation, or capital projects preferred.
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, KPI tracking, dashboards, SOPs, process documentation, facility layout, process flow, equipment needs, and CAD/layout tools.
- Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, data analysis, project management, presentation, and change management skills.

Pay
Base Pay Range: $65,000 to $70,000 annually
Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors.
Schedule
Generally 40 hours per week; extended hours may be required as needed for projects or other work activities.
