Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Direct support of various manufacturing processes in the Carrollton Cable facility.
• Support troubleshooting process related problems.
• Develop new products and processes.
• Design tooling, machines and components to improve existing processes.
• Create operating guidelines to document changes in processes.
• Support introductions of new materials.
• Provide technical support to different departments.
• Create specifications for new equipment.
• Involvement in the layout and commissioning of equipment and materials.
• Interaction with sister cable facilities around the world.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred qualifications)

• Experience with plastics extrusion.
• Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Aerospace, Civil, Materials, or other Engineering degrees.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Six-sigma and Lean experience.
• Achievements such as scrap reduction, throughput improvements, project management, Six-Sigma projects, Lean support, and process stabilization.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, chemical, aerospace, civil, materials, or other) or Physics.

Minimum Experience Required

Less than 1 year.
