Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and manufacturing standards to ensure consistent production execution.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
- Support equipment, tooling, fixture, and layout improvements to enhance production flow and manufacturing capability.
- Assist in the introduction of new products, equipment, and processes, including process setup, documentation, validation, operator training, and production readiness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, improving consistency, increasing capacity, and strengthening manufacturing performance.
- Support Design for Manufacturability or Design for Assembly efforts to ensure products are designed for efficient production.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, structured problem-solving, or continuous improvement methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
- Proven experience in process improvement, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and maintaining work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, structured problem-solving, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of CAD tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
