Process Engineer
Responsibilities
- Define and implement manufacturing systems appropriate for customer applications.
- Support manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Scrap and Downtime.
- Establish and improve robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
- Capable of independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
- Advanced troubleshooting of complex mechanical issues with high speed automated manufacturing equipment.
- Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
- Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
- Support creation and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
- Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Aid in the development of training and provide training to production personnel.
- Define, Implement, and evaluate proposed design updates and processes.
- Create work instructions and coordinate training for facilities and production personnel.
- Cookordinate/participate in pFMEA of manufacturing processes.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience working in high-volume assembly processes.
