One of our manufacturing clients is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency
- Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, downtime, and opportunities for improvement
- Lead process improvement projects from concept through implementation
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring process and equipment problems
- Monitor process performance using production data, KPIs, and statistical analysis
- Support the introduction of new products, processes, equipment, and manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data analysis
- Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, control plans, and process capability studies
