Core Responsibilities
- Monitor daily production KPIs (yield, scrap, downtime) and identify abnormalities.
- Analyze process and quality data to support root cause investigations.
- Auxiliary in planning and running Design of Experiments to optimize process parameters.
- Work with equipment engineers to troubleshoot process issues.
- Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Support quality teams in defect analysis and corrective actions.
- Prepare samples for lab testing (adhesion, resistance, thickness, etc.).
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in battery cell manufacturing (process development, process technology or manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience in battery manufacturing.
- Experience with DOE, SPC, or Six Sigma tools.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion cell structure and production flow.
- Hands-on experience with lab measurement tools (viscometer, caliper, UTM, etc.).
Location & Benefits
