Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Defines, maps, implements and sustains processes in the company.
• Reacts to changes by monitoring key metrics and leading the effort to bring and keep all processes in control.
• Finds solutions by procuring new materials, methods, and technologies to improve metrics such as yield, OEE, quality and EHS‑related metrics.
• Works with suppliers and customers on projects that benefit all companies involved.
• Communicates project status and makes recommendations by writing reports and presenting them to stakeholders.
• Defines, characterizes, and leads the implementation of new processes.
• Participates in activities to drive improvements for critical performance metrics such as process yields, scrap loss, equipment utilization, operating costs, etc.
• Writes and updates engineering control documents, including Work Instructions, Control Plans, process flow charts, PFMAs, etc.
• Implements, monitors and reacts to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) trends and other metrics to control ranges and provide consistent product meeting internal and external customer expectations.
• Performs root cause and corrective action investigations to identify the origin of process failures and institutes preventative measures to eliminate recurrence.
• Effectively uses writing and verbal skills to communicate processing concepts and projects to customers, operating personnel, other departments, technical staff and upper‑level management.
• Complies with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and manages existing or new
