Process Engineer
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing engineering activities by helping to develop equipment standards and vendor performance scorecards.
- Aid in creating, updating, and deploying technical standards, work instructions, and training resources for both production and engineering teams.
- Partner with plant engineering, operations, and maintenance to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Gather, analyze, and evaluate process data to identify trends and support weekly and monthly performance reporting.
- Contribute to cost tracking and production data analysis to support budgeting and planning activities.
- Help train operators and technicians on foundational process and equipment knowledge to ensure consistent and safe operation.
- Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in the implementation of new equipment and automation projects under the guidance of senior team members.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Experience or academic background in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or related manufacturing process improvement activities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process optimization and continuous improvement practices.
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience, including internships or co-op placements.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing problem-solving methodologies, with familiarity in Lean and Six Sigma concepts preferred.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and report process and production data to support performance analysis.
- Strong attention to detail when creating and maintaining technical standards, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support operator and technician training.
- Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma projects.
- Experience assisting with the implementation of new equipment or automation in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to support the development and use of vendor performance scorecards.
- Interest in building skills in cost tracking, budgeting support, and production data analysis.
- Willingness to learn from team members and contribute to a culture of ongoing process improvement.

Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $90,000.00/yr. We offer a competitive base pay rate and benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday - Friday at our Neenah, WI manufacturing facility. Additional hours as needed to support business needs.
