Process Engineer 1
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include sections only when posting has real specific content. We need to parse the posting. The posting includes: - Intro: "It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business." This is about the company, maybe "About the role"? Actually "About the role" heading is for description of role. Could use "About the role" for the initial paragraph describing role. - POSITION DESCRIPTION: Engineering 1 is a foundational role... This is description. - REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to Engineering Manager DIRECT REPORTS (if applicable): N/A. This is minor metadata; we can fold into a short
or drop. Probably include as a short paragraph under "About the role" maybe. - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: ... long list. This is responsibilities. - There's also Process Engineering 1 Specific and Manufacturing Engineering 1 Specific subsections under duties. Those are part of responsibilities. - QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Required Experience ... Skills Required ... etc. This includes qualifications and skills. - WORKING ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS: Physical and/or Mental Demands, Working Conditions. This could be part of "Requirements"? Actually "Requirements" maybe includes qualifications and skills. The spec says we can have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide which to use. We have qualifications (education, experience). We have skills required. We have working environment conditions (physical demands). That could be under "Requirements" or maybe separate but we don't have a heading for working conditions. Could include under "Requirements" as a paragraph. We have no explicit Benefits, Pay, Schedule info. So we should NOT create those sections. Thus we will output sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Skills. Possibly also Requirements? But we have qualifications and skills separate; maybe we combine qualifications and skills into "Qualifications" and "Skills". The spec allows both. We'll include both. We need to use
for each section heading. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to remove the EEO statement, accommodation request lines, etc. Also remove the "If you like wild growth..." line? That's more fluff but maybe considered boilerplate? It's a motivational statement; could be considered part of About the role? It's not essential but maybe we keep as it's part of company culture. However it's not duplicated. It's okay to keep.
We need to remove "Creation Technologies is an equal opportunity employer..." and the accommodation request paragraphs. Also remove "Canada: Title for the position will be in accordance with applicable national and local laws." That's minor metadata maybe drop.
Also remove "POSITION DESCRIPTION:" heading? We'll not repeat as heading; we will incorporate content.
We need to ensure we don't repeat job title as heading.
We need to output only HTML fragment.
Let's craft sections:
About the role
It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Engineering 1 is a foundational role at Creation Technologies, focused on executing moderate to moderately complex engineering tasks required in the creation, configuration and optimization of industrial processes required to produce and/or test Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and/or box assemblies. We need to ensure we didn't lose any content: The original had many bullet-like sentences; we captured them.
Now Qualifications:
Qualifications
Education and Required Experience: Bachelor's Degree (4 year) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or other relevant discipline) or a related field with a focus on electronics and manufacturing processes or equivalent industry or military training experience. New graduates or candidates with up to 4 years of engineering support experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
We could also include any other qualification details like "Ability to interpret a variety of technical documents..." but that is skills. We'll put that under Skills.
Now Skills:
Skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical documents such as wiring diagrams and drawings effectively.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards such as ISO9001/13485 or AS9100.
- Understanding of the concepts of New Product Introduction and how to execute projects including supporting functions.
- Understands and can execute Design for Assembly and Test tasks as required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to learn and apply new skills in a dynamic manufacturing services environment.
- Awareness of IPC standards, Lean principles, six sigma and industrial ergonomics preferred.
- Proficient in using Computer systems and knowledge of CAD/CAM and programming preferred.
- Engineering project management and project leadership skills an asset.
We might also include physical demands under Requirements? But we don't have a Requirements section; we could add a short paragraph under Qualifications or Skills? The spec says we can have Requirements section. We have not used it. Could we add a Requirements section for physical demands? The spec says we should include a section only when posting has real specific content for it. The posting does have physical demands and working conditions. So we could add a Requirements
with that content. However we already have Qualifications and Skills sections; we could also add Requirements for physical/working conditions. That seems appropriate.
Thus we will add:
Requirements
Physical and/or Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable Individuals With Disabilities To Perform The Essential Functions.
Working Conditions: The employee must wear designated PPE and/or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Otherwise, office/business casual attire, consistent with site specific safety guidelines is appropriate. The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
We should remove the line about reasonable accommodations? It's part of the posting; we can keep.
We must not include EEO boilerplate etc. Already removed.
Now ensure we didn't duplicate any content. Check that we didn't miss any substantive info: The initial "It's fun to work..." we kept. The "POSITION DESCRIPTION:" we
