About the role

The Process Development Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for specialty chemicals. This role requires a strong background in chemical engineering and process development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for specialty chemicals
• Conduct experiments to test and improve product performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process feasibility and regulatory compliance
• Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process development and optimization
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of chemical engineering principles and practices
• Experience with process control systems and instrumentation
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
