Process Design Engineer - Vapor

About the role

The Process Design Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing process flowsheets for vapor recovery systems. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze process flowsheets for vapor recovery systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize process designs
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and results
• Support project execution through coordination with vendors and clients

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in process engineering
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications

• Knowledge of process safety management principles
• Experience with process hazard analysis (PHA) tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
