About the role

The Manufacturing Technician will assess and oversee operations on the manufacturing floor, identifying and implementing tactics to enhance safety, optimize quality, increase productivity, and streamline company operations for maximum efficiency. This role involves routine departmental tasks, contributing to projects, prioritizing work, and communicating effectively at all organizational levels. Punctuality and attendance are critical to operations and team success.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, heavy industrial environment in the Findlay, Ohio plant
• Non-climate-controlled warehouse with exposure to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise
• Safety is the highest priority; adherence to safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes, is mandatory
• Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Pay

Base pay: $23.74 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts (2nd or 3rd shift; days or nights determined by plant)
• Overtime required to cover vacations and coworker absences
