Process Control Automation Specialist

Key Accountabilities

• Participate in actions/solutions to improve process control, reduce energy costs, and improve quality.
• Participate in actions/solutions to improve equipment monitoring and energy monitoring.
• Participate in plant audits related to Omya 4. 0, energy, instrumentation, and power.
• Investigate new technology to improve plant safety (Intelligent PPE, improved alarming, etc.).

Knowledge Sharing & Expertise

• Support CCs in developing budgets, Project Charters and mentoring Energy CC, Instrumentation CC, Power CC, Omya 4. 0 CC.
• Provide support to the GOP Engineering team.
• Responsible for know-how transfer, best practices, and supporting the development of Group standards and guidelines.
• Support UNO initiatives with process and automation teams.

Environmental Health & Safety

• Be in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.

Other Requirements

• Good command of both oral and written local language and English are required.
• Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial.
• Travel required to regions, plants, suppliers sites.
• Confident in international settings.

Education & Experience

• University Degree in Electrical and / or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical and / or automation engineering field.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to improve processes and systems to enhance performance of the job area.
• Strong working knowledge across all engineering fields with emphasis on electrical.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
