Process Assistant , ITX3-RDC

About the role

The Amazon operations team is seeking Process Assistants to support operations leaders and associates in fulfilling orders efficiently within our fulfillment centers. Roles include picking, packing, receiving, storing, and unloading product.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders
• Receive and store product
• Ensure inventory accuracy
• Unload and load trucks
• Communicate instructions to other associates
• Motivate and keep work areas safe

Requirements

• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Able to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet, or on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)
• At least 18 years old, and authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent education
• 1+ years of leadership experience directly managing others (preferred)
• 1+ years of working in a similar environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/retail) (preferred)
• Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (preferred)
