Process Assistant , ITX3-RDC

About the role

The Amazon operations team seeks Process Assistants to support operations leaders and associates in fulfilling orders efficiently within fulfillment centers. Roles involve tasks such as picking and packing orders, receiving and storing products, ensuring inventory accuracy, and unloading and loading trucks. Lead Process Assistants are also responsible for communicating instructions, motivating associates, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

- Pick and pack orders - Receive and store products accurately - Ensure inventory accuracy - Unload and load trucks as needed - Communicate instructions to associates - Motivate and keep work areas safe

Requirements

- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States - Ability to work 40 hours/week and overtime as required - Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications - High school diploma or equivalent - Flexible schedule/shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays - Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Ability to work 40 hours/week and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ years of leadership experience managing others - 1+ years of experience in similar environments (manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, retail) - Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
