Process Assistant

About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Process Assistants with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks
• Communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe

Work environment

• Commitment to providing a safe work environment – wear a reflective vest, stretch, and recognize others for working safely
• Relaxed, casual dress code (as long as attire meets safety requirements)
• Climate controlled sites, but noise and temperature levels can vary day to day; hearing protection is available
• May be asked to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet, or on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)
• May be asked to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours/week and overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Pay

Starting pay includes base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential depending on the shift you select. Additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay based on factors including shift selection and location. USA, IN, Greenfield – $24.00 – $24.00 USD hourly.
