Procedure Writer
Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking Procedure Writers to support a project at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence by shaping and refining critical procedures, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring seamless execution.
About the role
This is a part-time position working 30 hours or less per week. This role can be performed onsite in Glen Rose, TX or remotely from Texas, Ohio, or Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review procedure revisions in accordance with Client Technical Procedures and associated Writer's Guides.
- Process procedure changes in accordance with Client procedures, including addressing all comments, obtaining approvals, and loading into Client’s document tracking system.
- Provide close coordination with maintenance, program owners, and system engineers.
Each day, you’ll play a key role in shaping clear, effective procedures by collaborating with engineers, maintenance teams, and program owners. With a sharp eye for detail, you'll drive revisions, address feedback, and ensure everything meets the highest standards. Your expertise will drive efficiency, innovation, and the success of the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field and minimum 5 years of Procedure Writing experience OR appropriate industry-recognized licenses or certification AND minimum 5 years of Procedure Writing experience.
- Nuclear power experience is required.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Pay
Compensation range: USD $80.00 - USD $100.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
