Procedure Writer
About the role
Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking Procedure Writers to support a project at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence by shaping and refining critical procedures, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring seamless execution.
This is a part-time position working 30 hours or less per week. The role can be performed in Glen Rose, TX onsite or remotely from Texas, Ohio, or Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review procedure revisions in accordance with Client Technical Procedures and associated Writer's Guides.
- Process procedure changes, including addressing all comments, obtaining approvals, and loading into the Client’s document tracking system.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance teams, program owners, and system engineers to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field and minimum 5 years of Procedure Writing experience OR appropriate industry-recognized licenses or certification and minimum 5 years of Procedure Writing experience.
- Nuclear power experience is required.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
Pay
Compensation range: USD $80.00 - USD $100.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
