Procedure Support Tech - Outpatient Surgery

About the role

This position prepares and maintains OR and anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for various types of anesthesia care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares OR and anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored OR and anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia.
• Supports anesthesia services.
• Maintains inventory levels of OR and anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• May be required to work in areas with restricted access to medications.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Work Experience: 1 year in operative or invasive clinical setting Required
• Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support AHS BLS Certification Upon Hire Required Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification Preferred
