Probate/Estate Planning Associate Attorney

About the role

Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in Estate Planning/Probate, offering long-term growth, significant bonuses, and support from senior attorneys and staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle trust and estate matters from intake through conclusion with supervising attorney support.
• Manage estate planning, special needs planning, and court-supervised trust matters.
• Handle trust contests, court accountings, and probate administration following death.
• Manage all aspects of conservatorship matters with paralegal and administrative support.
• Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining strong follow-through and client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of probate or estate planning experience; 2-4 years preferred.

Skills

• Litigation experience and WealthDocs knowledge are a plus.
• Spanish fluency, excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Strong MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and computer skills; self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to learn new programs.
