About the Role

This Seattle‑based, midsized full‑service law firm is seeking an Estate Planning & Probate Associate Attorney to join its successful estate planning practice group. The role involves drafting estate planning documents, facilitating probate administration, preparing complex estate tax returns, and providing strategic tax advice to clients. Strong writing skills, an in‑depth understanding of estate planning and probate, and a client‑service approach to business development are essential. The position is hybrid, combining on‑site and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Facilitate probate administration for clients.
• Prepare complex estate tax returns.
• Provide strategic advice on the tax implications of estate plans.
• Engage in business development with a client‑service focus.

Requirements

• 3+ years of estate planning/probate experience.
• Washington State Bar membership.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• LL.M. in taxation.

Pay

Salary: $145,000 – $190,000 DOE.
