About the role
The Department of Bioengineering at the Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact seeks a Curriculum Development Director/Lecturer to shape and strengthen our academic programs. This role involves teaching technical and professional development courses, leading curriculum planning for undergraduate and graduate programs, and contributing to student recruitment and advising.
Responsibilities
- Teach both technical and professional development courses
- Lead curriculum planning for undergraduate and graduate programs
- Contribute to student recruitment and advising
- Collaborate with faculty and students to design meaningful learning experiences
- Work closely with the Knight Campus to support innovation, collaboration, and real-world impact
Requirements
- Ph.D. from an accredited higher education institution
- Relevant experience in curricula development, engineering education, and leadership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with and incorporate diverse learning styles into curriculum and program materials
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering field
- 3 years of related experience in engineering-related fields
- Experience working on a team
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience in curriculum development and engineering education
