Position Summary
The Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance (HPA) at Oregon is seeking applications for research assistants, research associates, and research engineers. We're looking for applicants who are self-motivated and have excellent organizational, research, and communication skills to participate in a variety of new and ongoing research activities. Research assistants conduct research under the direction of a Principal Investigator; research associates and research engineers conduct research with only general guidance. Research Engineer duties include technical expertise and providing technical support for equipment &/or facilities.
HPA at Oregon synergizes regenerative medicine and rehabilitation protocols to restore function to damaged tissues. An integrated interdisciplinary approach has the potential to dramatically accelerate healing and optimize functional recovery following a range of tissue damage levels and even help prevent injuries before they happen.
This position will work on either the Regenerative Rehabilitation Moonshot program or the Innovation Hub program of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance. Learn more about HPA.
Minimum Requirements
- Research Assistant/Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in bioengineering, human physiology, biology, or related field.
- Research Associate:
- Terminal degree in bioengineering, human physiology, biology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Bioengineering, Biology, Human Physiology, Chemistry or Physics
- Research experience in the area of human performance
