Pro Services Support Technician

About the role
The Pro Services Team provides multi-channel (phone, email, chat) technical support for residential and commercial water treatment systems, assisting dealers, wholesalers, retailers, installers, servicers, and end customers. As a Pro Services Support Technician, you’ll leverage your expertise in problem water and solutions to deliver technical support, troubleshooting, system sizing, product quotes, and resolutions for common water issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting via phone, email, and chat for water softeners, filters, and reverse osmosis systems.
- Assist with system sizing, product quotes, pricing, and solutions for problem water issues.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connected systems and track reported issues from consumers, dealers, and wholesalers.
- Support quality control and product development by identifying, reporting, and following up on product concerns.
- Assist in developing knowledge articles for product support issues and resolutions.
- Provide guidance and support to new technicians and customer service representatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of water treatment installation and servicing experience or 2+ years of technical support for in-home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- WQA Certification strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to ensuring satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills—ability to share information clearly, engagingly, and in a timely manner.
- Results-driven with a strong work ethic and quality outcomes.
- Proficient computer skills.
Work Environment
- Ability to work shifts between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM CST.
- Must be in the office at least 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
- Minimal travel required (<10%).
Pay
$25.20 - $30.80 per hour.
