PRN Youth Development Specialist

About the role

The PRN Youth Development Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the social and emotional well-being of young people in our community programs. This position involves planning and implementing youth development initiatives, providing support to youth, and collaborating with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement youth development programs that promote positive growth and learning outcomes.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to youth participants.
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings and resources.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to program activities and participant progress.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience working with youth.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Schedule
