PRN Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Westside Animal Emergency Clinic

Position Overview

Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• greeting and welcoming Owners and patients
• recognizing life-threatening symptoms for immediate triage
• answering multi-line phone system with a cheerful demeanor
• teaching the Thriller dance
• checking in/out clients
• assisting Techs and DVMS
• data entry
• organized and detail-oriented filing
• offering compassion and understanding towards Owners in emergency settings
• holding patients for exams, procedures, x-rays and comfort
• handling monies & taking payments
• have great aim for Nerf gun wars
• scanning/faxing/emailing records to RDVMs/Specialists
• running lab work
• helping to maintain a clean and healthy environment

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and skill level.

Schedule

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Weekends

Education

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• Veterinary Experience: 1+ years (Required)
• Customer service: 2 years (Required)
