Patient Assessment
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
- Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
Treatment and Education
- Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders;
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans;
- educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaboration
- Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care;
- participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
- Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).

- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems;
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
