PRN Speech Language Pathologist

Our team includes experienced and compassionate physical, occupational, and speech therapists specializing in senior care. We offer rehabilitation, pain management, and cognitive and speech therapy in an assisted living setting in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Our priority is the comfort and well-being of our clients, and we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Assess and treat communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing precautions.
• Complete accurate Net Health documentation and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements

• Active and current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Geriatric, assisted living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
