About the Role

As an Inpatient/Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll use evidence-based techniques to transform patients’ lives. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced-based practice for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and progressive neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to the next level of care.
  • Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, their families, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff (e.g., physicians, case management, nurses, social workers, dietitians).

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.

Pay

Pay range: $48.00 - $58.00 per hour. Any posted pay range considers multiple compensation factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position. This does not include bonuses.
