PRN RN Field Nurse, Home Health

Position Details

Location: Louisville, MS. Coverage Area: Winston & Noxubee Counties, MS. Position Type: PRN. Remote/Virtual Position: No.

Compensation

Salary: $77,000‑$79,000 (estimated annual compensation). This position is paid on a per‑point basis. On‑call: 1 weekend every 4‑6 weeks. Offer based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the status of nursing needs of assigned patients, implement the individualized patient care plan, evaluate its effectiveness, and modify as appropriate.
• Promote and maintain optimal client care.
• Diagnose and provide treatment for human responses to actual or potential health problems.
• Make the initial nursing evaluation visit.
• Re‑evaluate the client’s nursing needs as required.
• Initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions.
• Provide services requiring substantial special skills within the nurse’s scope of practice.
• Assign, supervise, and teach other clinical personnel, including written para‑professional orders and supervision.
• Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Inform the physician and other personnel of changes in the client’s condition and needs.
• Counsel and instruct the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
