Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures
• Set up instrumentation
• Auxiliary care to fellow caregivers
• Deliver exceptional care
• Supply healthcare information as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• In areas performing moderate sedation procedures, must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within 6 months of hire.
• One year of recent experience as an RN OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department may substitute for required RN experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Two years of recent experience as an RN preferred

Pay

• Minimum hourly: $43.00
• Maximum hourly: $43.00

Schedule

• PRN (as needed)
• Variable shifts
• On-call requirements

Physical Requirements

• Full range of motion
• Manual and finger dexterity
• Eye-hand coordination
• Standing and walking for extensive periods of time
• Corrected hearing and vision to normal range
• Exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids
• Moderate Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
