PRN Respiratory Therapist II - Non-NICU Nights @ Cobb Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and execute care, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems, and mentor new staff and students.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.
• Support invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS required.
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with computer systems.
